Together Claudia and Tomie have 60 combined years in the prosthetic, rehabilitation and allied health industry, both nationally and internationally. Our practices have included working extensively as Clinicians for clients with all levels of limb absence/loss, across all age groups. Our shared passion has always been providing services in the area of upper limb prosthetics.

Over the years we have become aware that significant numbers of clients with an absence/loss of fingers or partial hands have been and still are under-served. Finger and hand absences/loss are one of the most difficult areas to fit with a prosthesis due to loss of feeling, importance of appearance, and discomfort. Across Australia there is a lack of clinical expertise in this area. Outcomes have often been poor and little assistance has been provided to assist these clients to return to activities of daily living and work. And yet there are exciting solutions available.

Out of this awareness NXT Generation Prosthetics was established. Our sole focus is in this area and we are continuously exploring new cutting edge technology as it emerges. We are passionate in ensuring that we have the most advanced expertise in this area and will provide the best outcomes for our clients.

Our team typically includes the client, relevant medical specialists and allied health specialist such as hand therapists.
